My husband and I started looking for a home as people do. We went to the bank, got our approval letter in hand. That person reccommended a realtor that she works with and we gave her a call. My husband, wo is an honest man, gave this realtor his word that he would purchase our home through her. She never showed us a home and when we wanted to place an offer she would tell us, "Oh, that's not high enough". We searched for months and had lots of opportunites but could never get her to write up and offer for us.
After eleven months I decided to tell my husband, "I know yolu don't like to go back on your word, but, we neeed to get a new realtor or give up". Giving up wasn't on option with us. I decided to look for a new reator. I was introduced to Sharon Shepherd via phone. Me and my husband met with Sharon the next day, and, oh my, we thought is this really happening. Sharon took the time to listen to what we were looking for and took us to see several homes that first day. We were so excited that Sharon put back the fun in looking for our very first home.
Yes, it took some time. We lost a few homes to other buyers, but Sharon didn't let us give up. Sharon kept us motivated and up beat. We were constantly in contact and Sharon was always on the ball. We put on offer on a short sale home and she kept on them and in touch with us regularly. Sharon fought to the very last second for us and we now own our very first home and it's a home with what we asked for: 2,000 plus square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, inside wash room and all the amenities. She is a joy to work with and we are honored to call her friend and honored to have her in our lives. She is an asset to her company and we would recommend Sharon to anyone who asks if we know of a good realtor.
